Product Description:

 

The testing machine is used for the battery penetrating test by simulating the acupuncture by sharp objects when pack, transport, reserve, use and dispose batteries. The result of the test can be used to evaluate the safety performance of the battery.

 

Acupuncture test method:

 

Single Battery: Use the High temperature Resistance steel needle At a speed of (25 ± 5) mm / s, from the direction perpendicular to the battery plate, the penetration position should be close to the geometric center of the surface, the steel needle stays in the battery, observe 1 hour(Diameter of the needle is Φ5mm ~ Φ8mm, The taper angle of the needle tip is 45°~60°, the surface of the needle is smooth, free from rust, oxide layer and oil stain.)

 

Modular accumulator: 

Use the High temperature Resistance steel needle At a speed of (25 ± 5) mm / s, from the direction perpendicular to the battery plate, the penetration position should be close to the geometric center of the surface, at least Pierce through 3 single battery,  the steel needle stays in the battery observe 1 hour(Diameter of needle is 6mm ~ Φ10mm, The taper angle of the needle tip is 45°~60°, the surface of the needle is smooth, free from rust, oxide layer and oil stain.)
