Equipment description


This machine is suitable for the destructive test of the battery (or battery pack) on the battery subjected to free weight impact from different heights from different heights, resulting in internal short circuit of the battery.


After the battery is fully charged according to the specified test method, the battery is placed on the surface of the platform, and a metal rod having a diameter of 15.8 mm ± 0.2 mm is placed transversely on the upper surface of the geometric center of the battery, and a weight of 9.1 kg ± 0.1 kg is used. The free fall state of 610 mm ± 25 mm hit the surface of the battery with the metal rod and observed for 6 h.


Test requirements:


It is required that the cylindrical battery impact test has its longitudinal axis parallel to the surface of the weight, and the metal rod is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the battery.


Square batteries and flexible packaging batteries are only subjected to impact tests on wide sides.


The button battery is used to impact the metal rod across the center of the battery surface during the impact test.
